Drawings
Cartographer, Saturn Valley's most recent album cover, combines Native American and space traveler in a vibrant execution of sound. Stylistic inspiration was in part derived from Tales of the Black Freighter, a comic book magazine from the Watchmen universe and one of the band's favorites. The work involved integrating the pencil drawings below into Photoshop where it was colored with the fantastic Wacom pen.
